Grief Support Group for Cancer Survivors
Provided by Collaborative Cancer Care in partnership with Masonicare.
You are not alone. Your grief is valid. Your healing matters.
Cancer changes more than the body. It can change routines, relationships, independence, confidence, identity, dreams, and a sense of normalcy. Many survivors quietly carry grief for the life they once knew while trying to move forward after diagnosis and treatment.
This virtual Grief Support Group for Cancer Survivors was created to provide a compassionate and supportive space to process those experiences alongside others who understand.
Together, we will explore the emotional impact of loss beyond the loss of a person — including changes in identity, physical abilities, roles, sexuality, routines, and emotional well-being. Through guided discussion, reflection, and supportive conversation, participants will have the opportunity to feel seen, heard, and supported in community.
This group is designed to help participants:
– Explore and validate personal losses
– Build emotional awareness and self-compassion
– Connect with others navigating similar experiences
– Earn gentle coping and wellness strategies
– Foster hope and healing moving forward
Whether you are newly navigating survivorship or years beyond treatment, this space is here to remind you that your experiences matter and that healing does not have to happen alone.
